Top Medical is always looking for caring, dedicated people to join our team of Medical Attendants. We are filling both full-time and part-time positions. Top Medical provides comfortable and caring non-urgent medical transportation for individuals who require an ambulance. This position entails working on a non-emergency ambulance vehicle as a member of a two person crew. Under the direction of the Top Medical Communications Centre, each crew is directed via two way radio to provide service to hospital patients and others who require transportation by stretcher on a non-emergency basis.
Our competent and compassionate team of certified attendants ensure patients receive a safe ride whether the trip is to or from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private home; we want patients to receive the best care. We work together with healthcare providers, patients, and families to coordinate and provide convenient and professional services that are always in the best interests of all parties.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Emergency Care/First Responder or Emergency Patient Care Certificate or valid AEMCA.
- Valid âFâ Class Driving Licence (minimum G class, must be willing and able to upgrade)
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and outside regular hours of operation – including on call shifts.
- Ability to lift 250+ lbs using a stretcher or stair chair with a partner (Training Provided).
- Possess a clean driving record and must have a current criminal record check.
Top Medical Transportation candidates must have a minimum certification of Emergency First Responder or Medical First Responder or currently be studying as a Paramedic and hold valid First Aid and CPR. Applicants must provide valid documentation.
