I cannot thank Top Medical and the paramedics enough. We were stuck late at night trying to get my grandmother home after a bad fall and a full day in the ER and Top Medical really saved us. The paramedic that sat in the back even held my grandmother the entire ride to ensure she wouldn’t lean too far (as she was doing it all day due to the pain). They were quick and careful and mindful and I couldn’t be more grateful!

My father is currently a patient at North York General Hospital and needs daily transportation to Sunnybrook Hospital for radiation treatments. Today was our first experience with Top Medical Transportation, and we were absolutely blown away by the level of care and professionalism we received.

We were assisted by two incredible gentlemen who made what could have been a stressful day feel calm, safe, and even uplifting. Both were kind, attentive, and skilled, but one of them, Shahab, stood out in an extraordinary way. His compassion, warmth, and natural ability to connect with people went far beyond what anyone would expect from a transportation service.

Shahab treated my father with the utmost respect and dignity. He handled every transfer, from bed to stretcher to chair and back again, with remarkable care and strength. He made sure my dad was comfortable every step of the way, explaining what he was doing, offering reassurance, and maintaining such a positive energy that it truly changed the mood of the day.

What impressed us most was Shahab’s humanity. He shared his own story of overcoming abdominal cancer, which brought both comfort and inspiration to my dad. His words about staying positive, taking one day at a time, and believing in recovery had a real emotional impact. By the time we returned to the hospital, my dad felt lighter, more hopeful, and deeply touched by the kindness he had received.

When you hire a medical transportation company, you expect professionalism and safety, which we absolutely got, but what we didn’t expect was such a genuine level of compassion, encouragement, and human connection. Shahab and his colleague turned what could have been a routine transfer into a moment of care, dignity, and hope. He also made me feel better too - which was such comfort.
